As a sci-fier, I've had the priviledge of spending some quality time with Ms. Tapping. The British born Canadian actress is best known for her portrayal of Samantha Carter in the science fiction television series Stargate SG-1, which debuted in 1997. After SG1 aired its final episode, Amanda reprised the role of Samantha Carter on Stargate Atlantis as the new commander of the Atlantis expedition. This understated beauty can now be seen plying her trade on the sci-fi series Sanctuary, which follows the exploits of Dr. Helen Magnus (Amanda Tapping) as she seeks out all manner of terrifying and monstrous creatures (known as 'Abnormals'). So it begs the question..Would you tap Ms. Tapping?
